Three accounting students were selected by the Pilot Scheme for Cross-border Study Tour for Post-secondary Financial Talents organised by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of the HKSAR Government. The students were granted a summer study tour and internship in organisations including AIA, Bank of Communications, and KPMG in Shanghai. Students departed for Shanghai on 9 June and stayed in Shanghai for six weeks. During the period of stay, they had a four-week attachment at financial institutions in Shanghai, paid visits to government bodies, financial regulators and exchanges in Shanghai and took part in exchanges activities with local students.
