A year 2 student from the Department of Economics and Finance, Miss Helen Chong Hoi Ying, and a year 3 student from the Department of Business Administration, Mr. Lau Chun Wing Dennis, have been offered an overseas internship position by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Berlin respectively.
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices (HKETOs) in Berlin, Brussels and London are part of the Government of the Hong Kong Administrative Region. The Offices cover the bilateral relations between Hong Kong to the European Union and 32 Europe countries in total. The main purpose of the “Internship Scheme for Hong Kong Students in Europe” is to broaden the horizon of Hong Kong students, whilst strengthening people-to-people bond to further the bilateral ties between Europe and Hong Kong.
